As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Agency (CCBHC), we are committed to empowering our clients to live healthier lifestyles in order to improve both physical and mental well-being.

Our highly qualified staff use an array of integrated treatments to bring recovery to those with severe mental illness, addiction, trauma and chronic illness. We will work together to help:

NorthCare Specialized Outpatient Addiction Recovery Services (SOARS) offers the following state certified, and court accepted services:

    • Early Intervention Programs: 10 and 24-hour substance abuse education programs focusing on those who are struggling in the early stages of a substance abuse problem and are starting to suffer from school, employment, legal and/or family consequences/problems.
    • Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Substance Abuse Programs: Co-Occurring (MH and S/A) treatment services for adults, adolescents, and families. Services range from 12-16 weeks are gender specific and tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.
    • Comprehensive Family Court Substance Abuse Evaluations– Standard Assessment + Third Party Collaborative Interview.
    • DOT, DUI and Substance Abuse Evaluations- DUI, DOT (SAP), Court Involved and Self-Referred.
    • Impaired Professionals Programs– Providing specific treatment to the impaired professional (nurses, allied health, lawyers, physicians, etc.) with substance abuse and co-occurring issues.
    • Opiate Addiction Programs– Northcare/SOARS medication assisted IOP program. Clients will participate in MAT and IOP services monitored by both physicians and clinical staff.
    • Anger Management/Coping Skills Programs– 12-week program focusing on clients with co-existing substance abuse and anger/emotional management problems.

  • Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Services

      NorthCare provides psychiatric evaluations, pharmacological management, and medication training and support for children and adults. Our team consists of board certified psychiatrists and nurses. Individuals seen by the psychiatrist may have medications filled at our pharmacy during their scheduled appointment, if they so choose.  NorthCare is able to assist individuals with applications for various Patient Medication Assistance programs.

      NorthCare also maintains a refill phone line.

      The NorthRock Pharmacy provides integrated, on-site medication and pharmacy services to mental health providers and their consumers to reduce workloads, increase medication compliance, and improve outcomes for those we serve.  Pharmacists work closely with the onsite prescribers and medication clinic.  The pharmacy offers mental health and primary care prescriptions.  As part of employee benefits, employees can get their personal prescriptions filled at more competitive prices.

    • Team Based Care

      Every individual admitted to Northcare receives treatment by an interdisciplinary treatment team comprised of therapists, case manager/care navigators, peer support staff and wellness coaches. They collaborate with onsite psychiatrists, physician’s assistants, APRN’s and nurses as well as any outside providers identified as part of one’s treatment team.

    • Addiction Recovery and Diversion Services

      Northcare provides addiction services in addition to mental health services. At Northcare, treatment is provided holistically and collaboratively. Addiction recovery services include group and individual therapy/services and may include medication assisted treatment and intensive outpatient services.

      Criminal Justice Services

      Northcare works collaboratively with the Oklahoma County Courts Systems and is a behavioral health care provider for Oklahoma County Drug Court, DUI, Mental Health Court, Veterans Diversion, and Veteran’s Treatment Court.

      Individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges, who are considered indigent may be eligible to engage in treatment on a bond while awaiting trial through Northcare’s bond program.

      As part of the Oklahoma County Diversion Court process Northcare provides risk assessments to individuals facing felony charges. These screenings explore an individual’s risk to re-offend as well as possible presence of mental health or addiction disorders.

      Medication Assisted Treatment

      Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) combines specific medications with behavioral therapy to treat substance use disorders. This treatment is primarily used for opioid and alcohol use disorders. However, medications that target mood symptoms associated with withdrawal, in combination with behavioral therapy, have been shown to be effective in treating a multitude of substance use disorders.

      Substance Abuse Assessments

      Northcare provides various assessments including those for: family court, probation/parole, DOT (SAP), DUI (ADSAC), as well as other assessments that are court ordered.

      DUI (ADSAC) Classes and Outpatient ADSAC Service

      State certified 24-hour and 10-hour DUI (ADSAC) schools, VIP, and 6 or 12-week DUI (ADSAC) outpatient services.

      Early Intervention

      Northcare provides 10 and 24-hour substance abuse education programs. These programs focus on interventions for those who are struggling in the early stages of a substance abuse problem and are starting to suffer from school, employment, legal and/or family problems.

      Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP)

      Co-occurring (mental health and substance use) treatment services for adults, adolescents, and families.  Services range from 12-16 weeks, are gender specific and tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.

      Drug and Alcohol Testing

      • Urine Testing: 8 panel to 11 panel (detection periods vary depending on drug) with additional panels upon request.
      • Hair Follicle Testing: 5 panel to 17 panel (3-12 months detection, depending on where hair is taken from)
      • (EtG) Extended Alcohol Urine Testing: (80-hours detection)
      • (EtG) Extended Alcohol Hair Follicle Testing: (3-month detection)
      • Instant Results Drug Testing Kits (in home or in office, results in 5 min.)
    • Community-Based Services

      Northcare provides community-based services to specific populations that are challenged to engage in traditional office-based services.

      PACT

      Program for Assertive Community Treatment uses a 24 hours a day, seven days a week, interdisciplinary team approach that includes a psychiatrist, nurses, therapists, case managers/care navigators, peer support staff and wellness coaches. PACT provides comprehensive in-home and community-based treatment to those with a history of severe mental illness, incarceration or hospitalizations. PACT is an evidence-based model that reduces hospitalizations, homelessness and incarceration.

      Adult Community-Based Services

      Northcare provides in-home community-based services for those with chronic physical health diseases or co-existing conditions that prevent engagement in office-based services. These interdisciplinary teams provide support for adults of any age with severe medical conditions who are experiencing physical and mental health challenges.

    • Victory House

      Victory House is a drop in day program for NorthCare clients that provides an environment where every “member” is needed, wanted and welcome.  The focus is on social connectedness and social skills development.

      This program is directed toward individuals experiencing isolation in the community and those experiencing homelessness.  Victory House provides a safe place to go and receive additional support and mental health services.
