All proceeds will benefit crisis counseling for children. NorthCare’s vision is to enhance quality of life by promoting hope and dignity for all Oklahomans. We have been serving children, families and individuals since 1981. We serve approximately 13,300 Oklahomans annually who experience emotional or substance abuse issues including over 2000 children impacted by child abuse and neglect.

Location
Starting point is at located on the south parking lot of NorthCare, 4436 NW 50th. The course is new, flat and through neighborhood streets. Half of the race is through Bush Hills just north of Sportman’s club.

About This Event
This course is certified as accurate by Road Race Technical Council of USA Track and Field. Certificate numbers are OK-09063-DG for 5k and OK-09064-DG for 10k. Race time for 5K and 10K will be at 9:30AM. Reindeer Dash will start shortly after timed events.

- 5k and 10K: $20 pre-register, $25 day of race.
- Reindeer Dash: free (does not include race t-shirt).
*All entries received between November 27th-December 8th 2010 will be entered into a hat for prize drawing day of race. Pre-registration can also be accomplished at NorthCare children’s office located at 4436 NW 50th, OKC, OK 73112 Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm, Friday 9:00am-3:00pm, beginning November 29th, 2010.

Timing
Fast accurate results will be provided by DG Productions using the latest ChampionChip timing systems. Timing chips will be available morning of race. The timing chip must be attached to each runner’s shoe. Zip ties will be provided.

Packet Pick-up
All packet pick-up will be at the NorthCare Children’s facility located at 4436 NW 50th, OKC, OK 73112. The hours will be: Friday, December 10th, 2010 3:00 – 7:00PM Saturday, December 11th, 2010 8:00-9:00AM. We strongly encourage everyone to pick-up their packet on Friday to help expedite process for Saturday morning.

Awards
There will be special awards for the overall male and female winners in the 10K and 5K events. There will also be awards for the top three winners in the standard 5 year age groups in both races.

USATF
The 10K and 5K events are sanctioned by USATF and the courses are certified as accurate by the Road Racing Technical Council of USATF.

Waiver and Release
I know that running a road race is potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I also know that although police protection will be provided, there will be a possibility of traffic on the course routes. I assume the risk of participants, the effects of the weather, including all weather extremes and the condition of the roads, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Furthermore, I agree to yield to all emergency vehicles. I am also fully aware that baby strollers, baby joggers, pushed wheelchairs and wheels of any kind, animals, and head phones are strictly prohibited, and I agree not to have them on the course. Knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive and release and discharge North Oklahoma County Mental Health Center, d.b.a. NorthCare, its affiliates, their agents, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns, volunteers, DG Productions, the City of Oklahoma City, and any and all race sponsors, their representatives and successors, from any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury, or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of , or in the course of, my participating in this event. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen of unforeseen, known sponsors and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any purpose. Applications for minors accepted only with parent or guardian's signature.
