To promote
learning and professional development, North Care Center provides a staff development program to all employees. North
Care's program consists of in-service
training, accessible professional reference materials and a continuing
education program.
Additionally,
North Care offers educational opportunities
to others within our community for a minimal charge. Education programs
may be lead by North Care staff
members or a recognized professional in behavioral health from
Oklahoma. View the Education Presentations for

Continuing
Education Credits:
Application for continuing education credits will be made to the major
behavioral health licensing boards. Certificates of verification of attendance
will be provided with documentation of your attendance.
Training
Costs:
Your cost for attending each Education Presentation will be $25.00, with
the exception of the ETHICS presentation in which
the cost will be $50.00.
Target
Audience:
Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Professional
Counselors, Licensed Marital and Family Therapists, Registered Nurses,
and individuals under supervision for these licenses. Additionally, Bachelor's
Degree level staff, who provide case management and are certified by
the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, or who provide social services to families.
Evaluation:
A brief post-training evaluation survey, designed by North Care staff,
will be distributed to all participants, scored and summarized through
the organization's quality improvement process.
